Former manager and professional baseball player Peter Edward Rose Jr. Pete Rose Jr., the son of Pete Rose Sr., the all-time leader in hits in Major League Baseball, spent the majority of his career in the minor levels with the exception of a brief spell in 1997 with the Cincinnati Reds.

Since then, Rose has managed many clubs in minor league baseball’s affiliated and independent divisions.

He lives in Cincinnati as of 2022.

During the 2007–2008 offseason, Rose played baseball with the Tigres del Chinandega, a professional baseball team from Nicaragua. He participated in two seasons of play with the Atlantic League’s independent Long Island Ducks. On June 27, 2009, he joined the York Revolution, then on September 14, 2009, he was released.

2011 saw Rose join the White Sox coaching staff and take over as manager of their Bristol-based club in the Appalachian Level (rookie league).

He advanced to the Pioneer League with the Great Falls, Montana, affiliate in 2013. [3] He moved up to the lower-A South Atlantic League club in Kannapolis, North Carolina after one season.

Rose was appointed manager of the Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball on February 16, 2016.
