General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could easily face a second staircase fall that kills the villain for real. Will a twist of fate bring true death for Peter? Let’s talk about Peter’s tricky situation and where things might go from here.
Peter is heavily guarded at GH, so that could bring some obstacles when it comes to his inevitable escape attempt. Between all the armed officers, security cameras and everyone else who’s monitoring Peter closely, he’s going to have a hard time sneaking around.
That could mean Peter won’t make it out of the hospital alive. Peter should avoid death at Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) hands and wake up eventually, but he could run into problems if he bolts and lands back in that familiar staircase.
Liz admitted she wished Peter would’ve died after Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) pushed him down the stairs. Finn and Liz even went as far as stuffing Peter’s presumed dead body in a freezer, but he still lived to tell the tale.
It’d be a fun twist if yet another staircase shove took Peter out for real. In other words, maybe there’s still a chance for Liz’s wish to come true! Peter’s deadly fate could still come after a fatal tumble since Peter’s full-blown escape could be tough to pull off.
The question is: Who might shove Peter if this second push down the stairs plays out?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has become awfully determined to see Peter dead, so it’d be satisfying if she murdered Peter herself. We could totally see Maxie giving Peter a lethal shove to end him once and for all.
Of course, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might be another candidate since a redemption story is coming up for her.
If Nina eliminates Peter to protect Maxie and Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), maybe Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could pitch in when it comes to covering up her involvement.
This could also serve as an opportunity for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to avenge Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death. Even Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) would be an option under the right circumstances.
Bottom line, there are plenty of people who want Peter dead that’ll be hanging out at GH – perhaps just waiting to deliver a shove and cause a second truly fatal fall.
